Voice Optimization

The way that people search for information is quickly changing. With recent product innovations such as the Amazon Echo, Google Home and, of course, Apple's Siri, we now have the capability to product both simple and complex search commands using our voices. And these searches are increasingly returning worthwhile results - meaning that voice search is here to stay.

What does voice search mean for my business?

With nearly all innovation comes opportunity - at least for those businesses who are quick to adapt.

Voice-led devices are focused on simplicity and convenience. They are programmed to answer questions quickly and, as artificial intelligence improves, will soon provide more accurate search data than we're used to seeing with traditional search methods (i.e. Google).

Soon, your audience could have better a means to find your information and sign up as a new customer.

How can Mullin/Ashley help?

At Mullin/Ashley, we know first-hand the importance of adapting and embracing new technologies and innovations - we wouldn't have survived for 40 years if we didn't!

Here's how we can help you optimize your website for voice search.

Conversational Keywords

Research and identify important keywords for your business and implement the use of these on your site in a conversational (i.e. "real people") language.

Structured Data

Apply schema metadata markup to your website which is used by search engine crawlers to understand the context of each webpage.

Google My Business

Claim and optimize your business in Google to ensure your business information is up-to-date and will correctly direct customers to your products and services.

Frequently Asked Questions

Since most voice searches are in the form of a question, we will work with you to best implement FAQ-based content on your website.

How can I get started with voice optimization?

We'd love to help your business with voice optimization! Here is what you should do to get started and what you can expect from us:

1.

Contact us to let us know that you might be interested in a voice optimization project. You can do so by giving us a call at 410-778-2184, sending us an email at hello@mullinashley.com, or sending us a message via our website's contact form.

2.

When we get back to you (hopefully right away!) we may have a few questions, like ...

  • Will you be able to provide us with login credentials to your website?
  • Does your site have an active blog?
  • Is your site primarily informational, or do you list products and services?

3.

Then, we'll put together a Voice Optimization Project Proposal for you to review.

Depending on your goals, this will likely be a one-time project where our developers will optimize your website for voice with the current content in place and then provide you with simple instructions for how to optimize your content on your own in future pages and posts.

4.

Only after we've been sure that all of your questions have been answered and you agree to the terms, we'll ask that you sign the proposal and we'll get started!

Sound good? Okay ...
