  GAINCO RELOCATES CORPORATE OFFICES

TO LARGER HEADQUARTERS FACILITY

Gainesville, Ga., May 29, 2008Gainco, Inc., a manufacturer of scales, automated sorting and other yield enhancement systems for the meat, poultry and food processing industries, announces its move to a new headquarters location in Gainesville, Georgia.  Nearly twice the size of Gainco’s former facilities, the new headquarters will house executive offices plus R&D, engineering, manufacturing, sales and marketing, customer service, plus administrative functions.

Gainco’s new headquarters address is 1635 Oakbrook Drive, Gainesville, GA 30507 USA.  The phone and FAX numbers have not changed.

According to Joe Cowman, general manager, Gainco’s move to larger facilities was necessitated by significant growth in the company’s customer base and in overall manufacturing orders.  “We were fortunate to find new facilities located very close to our former headquarters,” Cowman said.  “This has allowed our move to be very smooth, while also not inconveniencing our employees.  We’re also pleased to remain part of the corporate community in Gainesville, which is a key commercial center in the poultry industry.”

In addition to its Gainesville facilities, Gainco maintains a second sales and service center in Ft. Smith, Arkansas.  Both facilities also include extensive warehouse operations.

Since 1984, Gainco, Inc. has been a leader in the development of online electronic weighing, sizing, sorting and distribution systems to increase yields, productivity and efficiency in poultry, red meat and other food processing plants.  Gainco manufactures a comprehensive line of automated weighing systems and equipment including DuraWeigh™ bench and floor scales, in-motion portion sizing equipment, sizing and distribution systems, high-speed sorting and counting systems, plus batch weighing equipment.

Completely designed and manufactured in the United States, all Gainco systems are engineered for real-time information-gathering and reporting, thereby enhancing plants’ abilities to evaluate, refine and improve their processing practices.

Gainco serves the needs of both domestic and international customers.  Its systems and equipment are installed in major food processing plants nationwide and outside the U.S.  The company is a wholly owned subsidiary of Bettcher Industries, Inc.  Web site address:  www.gainco.com.
