Gainesville, Ga., April 2, 2008— New QA Scales from Gainco, Inc. provide unparalleled performance and reliability for quality assurance testing throughout the entire processing facility. Among the design features of these new scales are user-configurable upper and lower limits which allow for Pass, High or Low information as compared to the standard Pass- and Fail-only options. As a result, these scales are capable of handling more detailed or complex QA testing procedures as determined by plant management.
The ideal weighing solution for harsh meat, poultry and other food processing environments, the innovative DuraWeigh™ scale design improves calibration accuracy, operating performance and equipment durability, while at the same time reducing equipment downtime, operating costs, plus simplifying sanitation and maintenance operations.
Available in three sizes on Gainco’s DuraWeigh™ heavy-duty bench scale platform, the new QA scale is equipped with the revolutionary Gainco Infiniti™ Plus programmable controller, which is specially designed to thrive in the extremes of meat or poultry processing. Cold work environments, hot chemical washdowns and high pressure washing do not affect the performance of the equipment. The need for double boxing, bagging or removing the indicator from the processing floor during washdown is eliminated.
The QA scale’s heavy-gauge stainless steel construction featuring continuous seam welds stands up to the rigors of the meat and poultry processing environment.
Configurable sample frequency and timing of tests come standard with all Gainco QA scale units. Password-protected menus help eliminate the chance of intentional or unintentional operator error. Optional Bluetooth®, Ethernet and WiFi communication platforms are also available, making it easy to adopt paperless reporting and peripheral design interfaces.
QA Scales from Gainco are available in four bench sizes (8”x 8”, 10”x 10”,12”x 12” and 16” x 16”). All scales carry a two-year limited warranty.
