GAIN NTEP CERTIFICATION

Gainesville, Ga., May 2, 2007— Gainco, Inc., the manufacturer of DuraWeigh™ scales and Infiniti™ weight indicators, announces that NTEP certification has been achieved on both the load cell electronics and the weight indicator elements.

Two NTEP (National Type Evaluation Program) Certificates of Conformance, awarded by the National Conference on Weights and Measures, recognize DuraWeigh™ scales and Infiniti™ weight indicators as “legal for trade” components for pricing products based on the weight information recorded by the equipment. NTEP certification covers five DuraWeigh™ models featuring weighing platforms ranging from 8”x 8” to 20”x 20”in size.

The perfect solution for meat, poultry and other food processing environments, DuraWeigh’s innovative scale design improves calibration accuracy, operating performance and equipment durability, while reducing equipment downtime, operating costs and simplifying sanitation and maintenance operations. DuraWeigh™ bench scales are designed for general weighing, portion control and manual batching. The load cells feature tension and compression overload stops that dramatically reduce load cell failure. Fast weighing response prevents production bottlenecks and improves productivity. Exclusively available on the DuraWeigh™ line of scales, the special design of Gainco’s Infiniti™ weight indicators enable the equipment to thrive in the environmental extremes of food processing. Cold work environments, hot chemical washdowns and high pressure washing do not affect the performance of the equipment, which is IP69K-rated for 100% ingress protection against both water and dust. Thus, the need for double boxing, bagging or removing the indicator from the processing floor during washdown is eliminated.

DuraWeigh™ scales are also available with Infiniti™ Plus Programmable Controllers which provide IR, RF and Ethernet programming options along with an LCD display for flexibility in communicating with workers via special text prompts, using special symbols and characters, or communicating in any language. They’re specially engineered to communicate with checkweighers, computers, printers, conveyors, air cylinders and other peripheral equipment to deliver accurate communications and reliable control directly from the processing floor.

Completely engineered and built in the USA, DuraWeigh™ scales carry a two-year limited warranty covering the entire scale unit and components.
