The ingenious suspended platform design of DuraWeigh® heavy-duty floor scales features a free-floating chain-and-rod system that protects load cells from costly damage caused by forklifts and pallet jacks in daily use, along with reducing the need for frequent recalibration of the system.  The scale’s low-profile, diamond-plate, skid-resistant ramp provides easy-on/easy-off weighing, with the ramp guides allowing for correct aligning on the weigh deck. 

DuraWeigh™ floor scales also feature Gainco’s exclusive Infiniti™ Weight Indicator, expressly designed to thrive in the extremes of meat or poultry processing.  Cold work environments, hot chemical washdowns and high pressure washing do not affect the performance of these IP69K-rated indicators.  At last, the need for double-boxing, bagging or removing the indicator from the processing floor during washdowns is eliminated. 

Users can select from two versions of the Infiniti™ Weight Indicator:  the standard LED model; or the Infiniti™ Plus programmable model utilizing advanced LCD technology that can display various languages, icons and symbols, as well as communicate with computers and peripheral equipment to deliver real-time accurate communications and control from the production floor.

DuraWeigh® floor scales are offered in 5,000 lb. and 10,000 lb. capacity models.  Choose from either single-entry or “drive-through” ramp designs.  The heavy-gauge stainless steel construction of all DuraWeigh® floor scale models is virtually indestructible, featuring continuous seam welds that really stand up to the rigors of the meat and poultry processing environment.  High-and-dry overhead wiring and load cell mounts provide better protection from moisture and chemicals during sanitation washdowns, and are easily accessible for inspection and service.

Another advantage of DuraWeigh® floor scales is their ability to be removed and repositioned in another location as plant layout needs change.
