BATCHING  SYSTEMS  FROM  GAINCO  FEATURE

HIGH-SPEED  OPERATION  &  SUPERIOR  ACCURACY

Gainesville, Ga.,  June 29, 2006Batching systems from Gainco, Inc. provide a highly efficient, high-speed way to collect and group meat, poultry and other food items for bagging or boxing.  Available in multi-station configurations to meet the precise needs of individual production lines, Gainco’s batching systems accumulate product at each station by weight or count ...  then dump each batch into a flighted conveyor for coordinated delivery to a bagging or boxing system.

With flexibility designed and built into every batching system, each station can be tracked for long-term monitoring and productivity optimization.  Each station can also be configured for either manual or automatic creation of batches, as desired.  In most cases, increased cycle rates as well as labor reductions contribute to an ROI of less than 12 months for Gainco batching systems.

Gainco batching systems also feature the company’s new Infiniti Plus programmable controller, providing today’s best protection against washdown and moisture condensation.  The Infiniti weigh indicator features a highly durable polymeric housing that protects the weighing apparatus equally well in cold work environments and during hot chemical washdowns and high-pressure washing.  The low thermal conductivity of the housing material virtually eliminates any internal condensation.  Moreover, the housing is impervious to the harsh chemicals typically used in washdown procedures in meat, poultry and seafood processing environments, with third-party tests demonstrating that the unit’s performance exceeds the stringent IP69K washdown standard.

Infiniti weight indicators used on Gainco batching systems also feature an LCD display with configurable data display capabilities, as well as a virtually indestructible keypad with oversized buttons for easier operation.

Gainco batching systems carry a one-year limited warranty covering the weighing components, while the Infiniti Plus programmable controller carries a two-year warranty on parts.  Through its Blue Ribbon Service subsidiary, Gainco also offers expert 24-hour, 7-day service on batching systems, weighing equipment, distribution systems, and software support.  Service is conducted by Blue Ribbon Service’s certified, factory-trained technicians, and all service work is guaranteed.

Batching systems are manufactured by Gainco, Inc., a subsidiary of Bettcher Industries and a leading U.S. supplier of scale systems for the meat, poultry and seafood processing industries.  Gainco offers design engineering, equipment manufacturing, systems delivery and comprehensive service contracts to processing facilities nationwide, as well as outside the United States.  For more information, contact Russ Williams at (770) 534-0703, e-mail your request to info@gainco.com, or visit www.gainco.com.
