Gainesville, Ga., February 22, 2006 — Gainco, Inc. introduces the new 20” x 20” model of its rugged DuraWeigh® Heavy-Duty Floor Scales. The ideal weighing solution for meat, poultry and other harsh food processing environments, DuraWeigh’s innovative scale design improves calibration accuracy, operating performance and equipment durability – while at the same time reducing equipment downtime and operating costs as well as simplifying sanitation and maintenance operations. The 20” x 20” model can be used for stationary weighing, or for easy portability when equipped with heavy-duty easy-glide casters plus a specially designed push handlebar frame.
The ingenious design of DuraWeigh® heavy-duty scales incorporates a stout stainless steel base that prevents flexing, thereby improving both weighing accuracy and equipment durability. The scale’s open-frame design allows for deep-cleaning while also preventing any bacteria-prone water from pooling.
DuraWeigh® heavy-duty scales include Gainco’s Infiniti™ weight indicator – a proprietary design which features an impressive IP69K rating to deliver optimal protection against pressure-washing and moist environments. The Infiniti™ weight indicator is engineered to thrive in the extremes of the processing environment, meaning that cold work environments, hot chemical washdowns and high pressure washing do not affect its performance. With Infiniti™, there’s no longer any need to double-box, poly-bag or remove weight indicators or scales from the processing floor during washdown cycles.

Each scale’s frame features built-in overload stops that dramatically reduce load-cell failure.
