Mullin/Ashley Associates Wins Web Development Awards in Two International Design Competitions
Chestertown, Md., November 21, 2012 – Mullin/Ashley Associates, Inc., a Maryland Marketing Agency focusing on PR, web design and market research, has won awards for web development projects judged in two international design competitions: the 2012 Communicator Awards and the 2012 MarCom Awards.
Mullin/Ashley won awards for websites designed and developed for two Maryland manufacturing firms: Fuchs North America (Owings Mills, Maryland) and Valpac, Inc. (Federalsburg, Maryland).
The Award of Distinction was won by Mullin/Ashley in the Communicator Awards competition (“manufacturing” category) for a new corporate website developed for Fuchs North America, a maker of seasonings and ingredients for the foodservice and food processing industries. Fuchs North America also supplies quality spices.
The new website (www.fuchsna.com) showcases the products and services offered by Fuchs North America, also emphasizing the support it provides customers in the development of custom seasoning blends used in snack foods, prepared entrees, sauces and many other food products.
The Fuchs North America website was also given a Platinum Award in the 2012 MarCom Awards competition. The MarCom Awards is an international creative competition that highlights outstanding accomplishments by marketing and communications professionals. The Platinum Award is presented to those entries deemed to be among the most outstanding of those submitted in the competition, which attracted more than 6,000 entries this year.
The MarCom Awards competition is administered and judged by the Association of Marketing & Communication Professionals, which convened a panel of judges to score each entry.
In addition, Mullin/Ashley earned a second award in the 2012 MarCom Awards competition – an Honorable Mention for a corporate website developed for Valpac, Inc., a manufacturer of adhesives and coatings based in Federalsburg, MD.
The Valpac website (www.valpac.com) provides useful information on the company’s toll manufacturing capabilities and standard product offerings. The site also offers a helpful and educational resource section to assist visitors who may be conducting technical research on new product formulations or seek alternative processing options.
In addition, the “Ask Dr. Lew” functionality on Valpac’s website allows for easy access to the expert advice of Lewis Raszewski, PhD, one of the top technical specialists in the adhesive industry.
Commenting on winning the awards in the 2012 Communicator and MarCom competitions, Phillip Nones, Mullin/Ashley’s president, stated, “We’re particularly pleased to be recognized for our work in web design and development.”
