Mullin/Ashley Wins in 2014 MarCom Awards International Marketing Communications Competition
November 11, 2014 – Mullin/Ashley Associates has been named a winner in the 2014 MarCom Awards competition. The awards were won for communications projects created and produced for three clients: Fuchs North America (Owings Mills, Md.), Bettcher Industries, Inc. (Birmingham, Oh.) and Kaeser Compressors, Inc. (Fredericksburg, Va.).
A Platinum Award was won by Mullin/Ashley for a series of product sampling kits designed and produced for Fuchs North America, one of America’s leading manufacturers of seasonings and flavor systems. The sample kits showcase new product offerings based on various culinary themes such as Asian, Latin and Middle Eastern ethnic cuisine, plus creative new twists on time-honored American menu items. The sample kits are presented to customers during in-person visits and are also packaged for delivery via postal shipping.
A Gold Award was won by Mullin/Ashley for a comprehensive set of marketing materials developed for the launch of a new product line introduced by Bettcher Industries, the world’s oldest and largest maker of powered hand-held meat trimming tools used in meat, poultry and seafood processing plants all over the world. Bettcher Industries pioneered this product and has introduced a number of successful new designs in the years since. The new Quantum™ Trimmer System represented a dramatic “quantum leap” in the technology, which is emphasized in the campaign’s overarching theme: “Trimming Technology Redefined.” The product launch materials developed by Mullin/Ashley ranged from website content and e-marketing promotion, to sales literature, online and print advertising, an ROI calculation tool, trade media publicity, plus trade show promotional materials.
A Gold Award was also won by Mullin/Ashley for a white paper researched, written and produced for Kaeser Compressors, Inc., one of the world’s leading manufacturers of industrial compressed air systems and equipment. The topic of the multi-page white paper was “The Use of Master Controls in Industrial Compressed Air Equipment.” The paper presented how advanced control capabilities can minimize equipment run times, maintain stable air pressures and deliver rapid payback in operational and energy savings. The white paper is being used by Kaeser as an information and educational piece while also supporting the marketing of its proprietary master controls technology.
