Thought Leadership: Is your company thought of as a leader?


Being perceived by the market as an industry leader has definite advantages. 

“Perception” is the key word here. Many companies are industry leaders, but they’ve done a poor job of convincing the market of this fact. Other, less significant participants enjoy a position not justified by traditional standards of measurement.

The techniques applied by smaller players to attain market recognition are varied. They include:

  • Aggressive promotion
  • Consistent use of public relations
  • Conducting original research and publishing the results
  • Circulating white papers on industry trends
  • Pursuing speaking engagements


And last, but not least, establish a substantial online presence that goes well beyond the corporate website to include several media platforms, blogs, webinars and other content.
